1858'de D.I.Dolgorukiy'den satın alındı; Nasıreddin Şah'ın, Rusya'nın İran Büyükelçisi Prens Dolgorukov'a hediyesi (1845-1854). F.1r'de, sahiplerinin mühürlerinin birkaç baskısı vardır (dördü Farsça ve Prens Dolgorukiy'inki). Birinci ek folyoda El Yazmasının Büyükelçiye sunuluşunu kanıtlayan yazı bulunmaktadır. MS'in menşe tarihi ve yeri hakkında bilgi yoktur. Paleografik özelliklerine göre 16. yüzyılın son on yıllarına tarihlenebilir. Kodeks, çift Avrupa sayfalandırmasıyla 682 varaktan oluşmaktadır. Son folyo 672 ve 682 olarak işaretlenmiştir. Hint mürekkebi ile iyi orta büyüklükte nasta'lik metin, dikdörtgen kartuşlar halinde beyaz başlıklar, altın, mavi ve çok renkli ayrıntılı süslemelerle doldurulmuştur. Üçgen boşlukların altın ve çiçek süslemeleriyle dolu olduğu çok sayıda chalipa sayfası var. 18. yüzyıldan kalma ciltleme, erken Kaçar lake kartonpiyerinin harika bir örneğidir. Kapakların hem dış hem de iç tarafları, her iki tarafta birer tane olmak üzere dört savaş resmiyle süslenmiştir. Dışarıdaki konular şunlardır: Topçu sırası ile Nadir Şah (arka kapak), Şah İsmail (ön kapak). İç tarafta Şehname'den sahneler tasvir edilmiştir: Rüstem ve İsfandiyar Savaşı (ön kapak) ve Rüstem'in yas tutan Suhrab (arka kapak). MS iyi durumdadır. 18. yüzyılda restore edilmiştir. Avrupa sayfalandırması f.310'dan sonra düzeltilmelidir (320 olmalıdır). Kağıt kaliteli, sararmış, hafif parlak.Metnin tam kopyası var. Ff.1v-17r, Baysunghur Önsözünü şiirsel eklemelerle ayrıntılı bir versiyonda ve Mahmud Hicivini (84 yem) içerir. Incipit: iftitah-i sukhan… Şiir f ile başlar. Normatif başlangıçlı 17v. Büyük bir ekleme yok ancak çoğu baskıda eksik olan bazı metinsel eklemeler var, örneğin: ff.500r-501r (28 yem). Birkaç yaprak eksik: ff.396 ile 397 arasında, 407 ile 408 arasında. Açık: Zi ma bar ravan-i Muhammed durud / hami ta buvad ruz-u shab-u tar-u pud MS zengin bir şekilde dekore edilmiştir. Ff.1v-3r – bir zamanlar lüks sarlauh olan, her iki yanında ikişer şemsa ve geniş arabesk dekorasyona sahip, tüm kenarlarını altın, mavi ve çok renkli kaplayan çift sayfalı bir sarlauh. Ancak şu anda oldukça kötü durumda; sudan zarar görmüş, yer yer yırtılmış, sağ alt köşesi yok. Dikkatlice restore edilmiştir.Ff.2v-3r metin, kenarlarında altın renginde çiçek, ağaç ve hayvan dekorasyonu bulunan altın bulutlarla çevrilidir.Ff.17v-18r – altın, mavi ve çok renkli renkte çift sayfa genişliğinde kenar arabesk dekorasyon ve 'çok zarif bir elin vanı. Ayrıca ff. 16v-17r (girişin sonu), 18v-19r ve minyatürlü tüm çift sayfalar, altın rengi marjinal bitkisel ve hayvansal desenlerle süslenmiştir ve metin, üzerinde çiçek süslemeli altın bulutlarla çevrelenmiştir. Chalipa sayfaları, üçgen boşlukların altın dolgulu, Hint mürekkebi ve altın üzerine kırmızı desenlerle süslenmiştir. Dorn 334'e yakın bir şekilde yapılmış 30 minyatür vardır. İlk ve son resimlerin konuları şiirin konularıyla bağlantılı değildir. Muhtemelen MS'in hamiliğini tasvir ediyorlar. Resimler tam sayfadır ve çoğunlukla, kitlesel sahnelerden oluşan oldukça sofistike bir kompozisyonla kenar boşluklarını kaplar. Bu dönem için oldukça nadir görülen bir özellik olan sarı boya hakimdir. Bu pigment kararmış, yeşili oksitlenmiş ve kısmen kaybolmuştur (Gyuzalyan ve Dyakonov, s. 53-57).
