Written in a medium naskh with elements of ruqʻah in black ink. Text is written in a single raw of 7, 8 or 10 interlocking couplets (i.e. alternating between right and left handside). Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Thick, glazed European paper.Ms. additions: Fol. 2a has an abjad table of letters with their corresponding numerical values. End of the text on fol. 66a is followed by a short note, in what appears to be the same hand, concerning a Kapıcıbaşı Çelebi Seyit Fehmi Mehmet Aǧa and the date March 1103/1692 (date of his death?). Fol. 70b has two inscriptions, both records of births, dated 24 Dhū al-Qaʻdah 1132 (1720) and 29 Ṣafar 1142 (1729), both in black ink laced with gold glitter. Fol. 71b-72a have short versified inscriptions, in Ottoman, apparently again related to ʻIlm al-Ḥurūf (words are accompanied by numbers and dates relating to them).
