The book is divided in 12 sections, enumerated on f. 21b, dealing wiht the different precious stones as follows: 1) the diamond, 2) the ruby, 3) the ruby, 4) the emerald, 5) the pearl, 6) the bezoar-stone, 8) the white or pale ambergris, 9) the lapis lazuli, 10) the coral, 11) the agate, 12) the jade.
