Notes
Logic, an ancient discipline, is a product of reason-based thinking. Before gaining a systematic structure, logical thinking and various forms of rational inference seen in various parts of the world guided human life and its scientific products. Logic, which was put forward from various aspects until it was given a perfect form in the hands of Aristotle, has been in constant development and transformation in line with the human mind and needs for approximately two thousand years. In this context, its traditional importance from past history requires that the discipline of Logic be given the position it deserves. In addition, it would be appropriate to make the necessary planning in order to solve the problems faced by logic teaching and to benefit more effectively from the Logic discipline, especially in higher education. In this article, the structure of the Logic discipline and its various interpretations in the tradition will be briefly discussed. Again, the importance of this discipline will be pointed out from several different perspectives and attention will be drawn to some problems in this context in the faculties of theology. In this context, a few suggestions that we would like to be discussed will be put forward.
