This vase is a pair of vase with inventory number 400-0090. It has gilded decorations on a turquoise background. On each side there is a picture placed in gilded oval frames. On the front of the vase, there is a hunting-themed scene, and on the back, in the lower right corner, there is a lake view bearing the signature "Leber". The hunting scene is an adaptation of the 1726 painting "Rendez-vous de chasse (Hunting Encounter)" attributed to the Dutch painter Carel van Falens. This painting, which inspired "Leber" by van Falens, who often painted hunting scenes, is now in the collection of the Louvre Museum.
The three figures on the front of the vase, together with their horses and dogs, are depicted in front of a partially visible house. While a woman and a man holding a falcon are on their horses, a young man standing between them is holding his own horse by the reins. In this depiction, where Van Falens's painting is taken as symmetrical with respect to the mirror, "Leber" has chosen to depict only the figures in the center of the scene.
The top of the vase's lid is in the form of an inverted acorn made of gilded bronze. The gilded bronze handles on both sides of its body are decorated with a ram's head at the points where they meet the vase. There are gilded decorations consisting of decorative floral motifs on the lid, neck and bottom of the vase. There are flower and leaf reliefs on the corners of the gilded bronze base.

This vase is of a pair with the vase bearing the inventory number 400-0090. It features gilt decorations on a turquoise ground colour. Each side features a painted scene contained within a gilded oval frame. On the front is a hunting scene, while the back features a lake landscape, with the signature 'Leber' on the bottom right corner. The hunting scene is an adaptation of "Rendez-vous de chasse (The Hunters' Gathering)", dated 1726, attributed to the Dutch painter Carel van Falens. This painting by van Falens, who was known for his hunting scenes, is today in the Louvre Museum's collection.
The painting on the front of the vase depicts three figures with their horses and dogs, in front of a partially visible house. A woman and a man holding a hawk are pictured on their horses, while a young man stands between them, holding his horse by the reins. This adaptation is a mirror image of van Falens's painting, however, the artist 'Leber' has chosen to only depict the central figures of the original artwork.
The vase's lid is topped with a gilt bronze finial in the shape of an acorn. Two ram's heads on either side of the vase connect the gilt bronze handles to the main body. The vase's lid, neck and foot are decorated with gilded foliate motifs. The corners of the gilt bronze plinth feature relief decorations of flowers and leaves.
