OSd 8) along with a border in tooled fillets ; sewn in white thread, two stations, many threads broken or loose ; overall in poor condition with flap entirely lost, abrasion, staining, lifting and losses of leather, negative draw in upper cover, etc. ; repair to spine in linen textile. Script: Naskh ; elegant Turkish hand ; serifless with occasional slight effect of tilt to the right or of words descending to baseline, quite rounded and freely ligatured, some elongation of horizontal strokes, pointing in curved strokes rather than distinct dots, initial hāʼ often looking like two inverted commas situated one above the other, kāf mashqūqah preferred, partially vocalized. Layout: Written in 23 lines per page ; frame-ruled.
