This document begins with a number of common citations from the Qurʾan and Hadith affirming the importance of giving respect to the family of the Prophet. The document then presents the genealogy of Bābā ʿAlī Shāh, which is traced through the 11th Ithnāʿasharī Imam Ḥasan ʿAskarī to the Prophet Muḥammad and continuing to Adam. | Incipit: بسم الله الرحمن الرحیم ان الله اصطفی آدم نوحاً و آل ابراهیم و آل عمران علی العالمین, Explicit: از دور حضرت آدم صفی الله تا زمان حضرت محمد مصطفی صلی الله علیه و سلم شش هزار و شش است و از زمان حضرت تا این دم تأریخ معلوم میشود, The document is written in black ink in a fine hand with rubrications. The document is a single piece of paper with some creasing and minor tears.
