The document then presents the genealogy of Bābā ʿAlī Shāh, which is traced through the 11th Ithnāʿasharī Imam Ḥasan ʿAskarī to the Prophet Muḥammad and continuing to Adam. | Incipit: In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Merciful, in the name of Allah, Adam Noah, and the family of Ibrahim and the family of Imran, Ali Al-Alamin, Explicit: From the time of Hazrat Adam Safiullah to the time of Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa, may God bless him and grant him peace, there are six thousand and six, and from the time of the Prophet until now, the history is known, The document is written in black ink in a fine hand with rubrications. The document is a single piece of paper with some creasing and minor tears.
