صفحه عنوان و آغاز مقدمه ای از رساله جدلی در گاه شماری قرائی توسط ابویعقوب یوسف بن. ابراهیم البصیر، با عنوان الکتاب أصحاب الاعتدال («کتاب علیه اهل اعتدال»). بر اساس مقدمه، جوزف ب. ابراهیم البصیر وقتی دید که مردم به اشتباه تاریخ عید فصح را تعیین کرده اند، به دلیل تکیه بر وضعیت اعتدال به جای وضعیت محصول جو، از دیکته این کتاب متاثر شد.
