Notes	Ms. codex., Title from opening matter (pp.9-10)., Collation: 3 V(30), I (32) ; chiefly quinions ; catchwords present ; pagination in pencil, Western numerals, supplied during digitization (includes inserts)., Layout: Written mainly in 23 lines per page ; frame-ruled., Script: Naskh ; clear Syrian / Turkish hand ; partially (though irregularly) seriffed with right-sloping head-serifs on occasional free-standing alif, lām, etc., curvilinear descenders, pointing in strokes rather than distinct dots, freely ligatured, and kāf mashkūlah (mashqūqah) preferred ; partially vocalized., Decoration: Keywords and text being commented upon rubricated ; textual dividers in the form of hāʼ or disc in red ; some overlining in red ; diagrams in margins (p.19, 23, etc.)., Support: European laid paper with 6-7 laid lines per cm. (vertical), chain lines spaced 27 mm. apart (horizontal), crown-star-crescent watermark (90 mm. tall, parallel to chains, see p.52, 57, etc.), three crescents watermark (100 mm. long, perpendicular to chains, see p.66, 67, etc.) and "V d" under trefoil countermark (see p.55) ; cloudy formation, sturdy and thick, cream in color, well-burnished to glossy., Binding: Heavy wove paper cover in pale mint green (single sheet, limp binding without boards) ; sewing in yellow thread, two stations, now damaged with most threads broken or lost ; cover ill-fitting and in poor condition with significant staining, abrasion, tears, etc., Former shelfmark: From inner front cover and lower cover, "IL 401" (likely supplied by Yahuda, see acquisitions slip)., Accompanying materials: a. Ms. 524., Arabic., Print version record, Incipit: "حمدا لمن وفقنا بتوفيق عنايته الى الايمان وهدانا بهدايته الى الايقان والاذعان ... وبعد فيقول اسير ذنبه ... محمد بن سليمان الحلبي الريحاوي ... ان مما يقين [؟] على كل مكلف ان يعتقد ان كمالات نبينا صلى الله عليه وسلم لا تحصى ... ثم لما رمتني الديار الحلبية الى القاهرة المصرية ثم الى الديار الرومية الى مدينة قسطنطنية المحروسة المحمية سنة الف واربعين ومائة رأيت بعض ذوي الطاعات يتداولون تأليف الصلوات على سيد السادات ... المنسوب الى قطب الاقطاب ... سيدي محيي الدين محمد بن علي العربي ... وكنت اخذته من جماعة من العلماء الاعلام منهم الاستاذ الشيخ محمد المنفلوطي المالكي ثم عن علامة زمانه وفريد اوانه الشيخ محمد الدمياطي الشهير بابن الميت فاجازني به وبجميع مؤلفات الشيخ بسندها الى الشيخ قدس سره ثم عمن لم يسمح الزمان بمثله ... المرحوم سيدي محمد المغربي الملقب بالصغير ... ثم عن العلامة الشيخ احمد المغربي المالكي وقرأته عليه بعد ان قرأ علي بعضا من فقه الحنفية فاجزته واجازني بذلك وغيره وقد سألني الان بعض الاخوان ان اشرح الصلوات المذكورة بكلمات تحل الالفاظ ... ثم حين وفقت لاتمامها وبدت شمس ختامها ... هدئت لتسميتها بالنورانية على الصلوات على خير البرية ...", Explicit: "وكان يقول من قالها في مرضه ثم مات لم تطعمه النار انتهى والى الله المرجع والمنتهى وهذا اخر ما خطه القلم على طبق ما جري به القلم ... مع قصوري في هذه المادة وعجزي عن سلوك هذه الجادة ... والحمد لله وحده والصلاة والسلام على اشرف الانام ... ما ان اوان وترادف الملوان", Colophon: "Authorial" and "Scribal" [], reads "وكان تأليفها في ثمانية ايام وطويت عنها خيام الختام في خامس خامس عاشر العشر الرابع من الثاني عشر والحمد لله والله اكبر", Origin: At close on p.67, the author has indicated that the composition was completed in eight days with the date of completion expressed in fractions, the fifth of the fifth of the tenth of the fourth tenth of the twelfth ("خامس خامس عاشر العشر الرابع من الثاني عشر") which may be interpreted as Jumādá I 1135 [February-March 1723] but seems inconsistent with the information in the opening matter where the author indicates he travelled to Istanbul in 1140 [1727 or 8]. This copy possibly fairly contemporary or mid-18th century.
