Sample Text History and language reforms are undoubtedly the two deepest foundations laid by Atatürk for the development of national culture and two tremendous undertakings worthy only of the will of an exceptional genius like him. History informs us about the heads of state who attempted to write history and correct the language before Ataturk. Caesar is the oldest and greatest of these. His "Commentaires", written about the Gol wars, have survived from antiquity to modern times as immortal monuments of the art and history of war, worthy of being studied at all times. The greatest rulers had them translated into their own languages, and Napoleon spent all the nights of his youth in Corsica on them.
