Dedication note appears on the first page of each volume accompanied by supplication and honorific title. No pagination, catchwords, v.1 includes pages 1- 266; v.2 pages 267-564. 35 lines per page, includes marginal notes, images and glosses. Text pages with straight borders; each volume includes headpieces; Persian naskh script. Many images of animals and birds, and illustrations are included in the glosses. Copy in McGill Library's Rare Books and Special Collections, Blacker Wood Rare Books: Presented to the library by Casey Wood in 1938. Copy in McGill Library's Rare Books and Special Collections, Blacker Wood Rare Books: Purchased by Max Meyerhof in Egypt, in 1937.
