The book was published in Tehran and dedicated to the Qājār king Nāṣir al-Dīn Shāh (d. 1896). Dedication note appears on the first page of each volume accompanied by supplication and honorific title.
No pagination, catchwords, v.1 includes pages 1- 266; v.2 pages 267-564.
35 lines per page, includes marginal notes, images and glosses.
Text pages with straight borders; each volume includes headpieces; Persian naskh script.
Many images of animals and birds, and illustrations are included in the glosses.
