Notes The manuscript was in the ownership of al-Sayyid Muḥammad Saʿīd (stamp on fol. 1r), Muḥammad ibn al-Ḥāǧǧ ʿUmar Efendi (inscription dated 1275/1859 on 1st flyleaf and fol. 1r and 4 Šaʿbān 1275 [9 March 1859] on fol. 1r) and was purchased by the Library from Rafael Danglmajer in 1950, Begins with: (1b) This is a book: In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Instructions: Praise be to God at all times and times, and blessings be upon His Messenger, the most honorable of creation and creatures. For some of them are twos, threes, and threes up to the full ten. Copyist note: (24b) Completed [...] edited by Muhammad al-Hajj Omar Effendi 4 A.H. in the year 1275 in the year two thousand and seventy-five, Ends with: (24b) And after everything is destruction except the face of God Almighty, according to the Almighty’s saying: Everything is perishing except His face. To Him belongs judgment, and to Him you will be returned. And God is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs [...] And may God’s blessings be upon our master Muhammad, his family, and all his companions, and peace be upon the messengers, and praise be to God, Lord of the worlds, The first manuscript in a collection of three ḥadīt texts, In the margin, indication of chapters in Arabic in black and red ink, On fol. 1r list of the constituent works, The manuscript contains a table of contents between fols. 26v and 29r
