Elegant copy of the Gulistān, celebrated collection of moralizing anecdotes in rhymed prose interspersed with verse (maqāmah form), composed in 1258 by the renowned Persian poet and prose writer, Saʻdī (d.1292). Accompanied by the text of his Būstān in the margins and followed by further ḥikāyat, Risālah-ʼyi dah qāʻidah of Sayyid ʻAlī Hamadānī (d.1385) and a manqabat for Shaykh Saʻdī (see pp.228-249).
