Where is a quoted copy? Al-Anam and his great, righteous family. The prized collection of biographies of Ṣūfīs and saints accompanied by a comprehensive study of Sufism, all penned by ʻAbd al-Raḥmān al-Jāmī (817-898/1414-1492). In this codex, the text is preceded by a short exhortation in Persian on the mystical search, focusing on the theme of alchemy and opening: "O seekers, know and be aware that the Sharia is like a candle that leads the way even if you hold a candle, you walked and did not do anything and you came to the door, this is your way and when you have reached your destination, this is the truth they said for this reason".
