Colophon dated 9 Rebiülevvel 1078 (29 August 1667), signed by Mehmed Behçeti İbn Derviş Mustafa an katiban-ı Divan-ı Hümayun el-maruf bi-Mecidzade; Place of copying Cezire-i Girid; Our copy does not contain the entire original text. It also includes, additions extending to the reign of Selim I, ending with the execution of Tumanbay in 923 (1517). Our copy has an interesting colophon (p.406), while the Ottoman siege of Candia on Crete was still in progress. The Ottoman conquest of Crete began in 1645, and was not completed until the surrender of Candia on September 27, 1669., Page II-IV: A quote;
