It also includes, additions extending to the reign of Selim I, ending with the execution of Tumanbay in 923 (1517). Our copy has an interesting colophon (p.406), while the Ottoman siege of Candia on Crete was still in progress. The Ottoman conquest of Crete began in 1645, and was not completed until the surrender of Candia on September 27, 1669., Page II-IV: A quote; Page VIII: A note in Latin and German about this manuscritp; Page XI: Ownership stamp; Marginal explanations relating the main text; Medical recipe (p.II); About the cardigan that the Prophet gave to Kab b.
