Some damp staining, mostly marginal, and mild insect damage.Origin: According to a chronogram on fol. 1a, the original text was completed in 1011 H [1602 or 3]. A poem on fol. 1a, 28a by the author states that he wrote the text for ʻĀdil ʻAlī, governor of Egypt under Sulṭān Muḥammad ibn Murād [Mehmet III, r. 1595-1603]. The date 1029 H [1619 or 20] is also noted on fol. 1a.Incipit: باز باز دل ز راز معنوى * شد بچرخ از مثنوئ مولوى - Quarter leather with marbled paper covers and doublures; spine torn at top and bottom. - Ṣūfī poem written in imitation of Jalāl al-Dīn Rūmī's Mas̲navī.
