In this article, Lifij states that although the War of Independence has been won, the fight against ignorance is not over yet. Focusing on Mustafa Kemal Pasha's desire to open "economics schools in the country" for the economic development of the country, Lifij emphasizes that economic development and the development of decorative arts are parallel to each other. Referring to the Paris International Sanâyi-i Tezyîniye Exhibition [International Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts Fair], he stated that the nations participating in this exhibition exhibited their development not only in art but also in the technological field. He emphasizes that this is the result of the education provided by decorative arts schools, which he calls "schools of economics".
