BSB provenance: Donation from Professor Gotthelf Bergsträßer on May 9, 1933, old signature: Q 438, short photo of a manuscript, writing: slightly cursive Neshî. Chunky style. Numerous omissions of the diacritic points, poor orthography, Binding: Black-brown leather binding severely damaged on the edges and margins and on the spine with a blind-pressed floral medallion and narrow margins, Features: On the. R. occasional additions, the places in the text of which are marked by dots. Koran verse on page 44b, keywords and verse separators in the form of small circles in red. - Custodians. - Darkened ivory, thick, rag paper with large brownish water spots on the edges. Occasionally some worm damage. The stitching is largely defective, so that many individual sheets and layers are loose, previous owner: es-Seyyid İsmâʿīl, Halîfe ..., Contents: The 9th volume of the Alexander novel in prose with interspersed double-rhymed verses. The text has the same linguistic and stylistic peculiarities of Old Ottoman as that of Hanna Sohrweide Volume 1, 270ff., No. 312, of Pertsch (Berlin) No. 471 and the manuscripts described by Götz Volume 1 No. 233 and 234, but has a different content, content: sheet 2a owner's note from es-Seyyid İsmâʿīl, Halîfe... Including Iskender-nâme, beş cildî bir yerdedi [1. Volume of a five-volume manuscript]. Fī ġurre-i M[uḥarrrem] sene-i 1201 [24. October 1786].
