Notes
Praise be to God, the King, the Bestower of God, the Inspirer of what is right and the Opener of those who have closed doors, and may blessings and peace be upon our Master and Master Muhammad, the Master of Creation, in this abode and on the Day of Judgment and Resurrection, terror and judgment, and may God Almighty be pleased with his family and companions who sacrificed their souls in his love and victory for his law and who walk in upholding his word and spreading his religion through difficult paths. And after: This is a restriction with which I intended a brief explanation of the science of logic by way of succinctness, refraining from multiplication, and limiting it to what is important without adding anything that hinders one from rushing to the hereafter legal objectives, confuses the mind, and distracts attention. By God, I ask that He and His origin benefit the stupid, the intelligent, the weak, and the strong, and protect everyone through His grace from curiosity, arrogance, admiration, contempt for the truth, and looking at others with contempt. P: Praise be to God, who has blessed us with reason and clarification, and prayers and peace be upon our Master and Master Muhammad, who was sent with clear evidence and conclusive proof. Sh: The discussion about the meaning of praise, its parts, and the reason for starting with it is clear, so we will not dwell on it. And what he means by explanation is all necessary sciences and their relative, tangible and intelligible, because sciences through them made information clear and were revealed to the mind....And if the discrete prevents combination, as we say, for example, it is always either the body is white, or it is black, then excluding the specific part of any part produces the opposite of the other because their combination is impossible to be true, and excluding the opposite of any of them does not result in their combination being permissible to lie, so the impediment to the combination is the first two results of the truth, even if the discrete is an absence, as we say: For example, it is always either the crime is not white or it is not black, so excluding the opposite of any part produces the essence of the other due to the fact that they do not combine to be false, and excluding any of them does not result in the possibility of their combining to be true and therefore to prevent emptiness, so the last two results are among the results of the truth. This is the last thing we intended to put in this explanation. We ask God Almighty that it and its origin will benefit everyone who seeks to gain them the benefit that will lead in this world and the hereafter to the satisfaction of the Noble Lord, and that He will help them realize what will happen with him, by the grace of God Almighty, to win with the working scholars with great ranks in the abode of abiding bliss...
