Notes Praise be to the Giver of the gift, and prayers be upon the best of creation, and upon his family with pure souls. As for what follows: the meanings of metaphors; What is related to it has been mentioned in the books in detail. It is difficult to control, so I wanted to mention it in an accurate summary in a way that was spoken in the books of the earlier ones, and indicated by the words of the later ones, so I organized the chapters of the returns to investigate the meanings of the metaphors, their sections, and their evidence in three decades. The first decade: in the types of metaphor, and it contains six unique matters. The first unique: the single metaphor. I mean: the word used in other than what was assigned to him for a relationship with a presumption that prevents his will, if the relationship is not similar, then it is a metaphor, otherwise it is an explicit metaphor.... The fifth uniqueness: Just as what is more than the explicit presumption of fittings to the suspect is called a nominative, likewise what is more than the apparent presumption of fittings is considered a nominative to it, and it is permissible to make it a nominative for imaginary or investigative metaphor... and for simile by mentioning what suits the suspect, and for explicit metaphor as previously mentioned, What is the difference between what is made a presumption of the possibility, and makes itself an imaginary or investigative metaphor, or its proof is an imaginary? And between what is made additional to it, and a nomination is the strength of specialization over the suspected thing, so whichever of them has the strongest specialization and connection to it is the presumption, and anything else is a nomination.
