Praise be to God, who deposited in letters the secrets of events and made numbers the conditions of events, and prayers and peace be upon the manifestation of the essence and the manifestation of names and attributes, and upon his good family and righteous companions. As for what follows: The poor servant, Salim al-Hanafi, the preacher of Mosul, says: When God blessed me with obtaining subject books, reading them, and studying them in a strict and serious manner, I wanted to read the Jafari books and the literal secrets, which I had learned from the honorable sheikhs, and I benefited most from the books of the eminent Sheikh, the author of empowerment, Sir Yahya al-Din, and may God pour out the rules completely beyond what was required and what was intended. I wanted to write in the Jafr a small message with great meanings, so it brought God’s abundance abundantly. The waves crash in it and the rules come in crowds and crowds. Its characteristic is: Al-Kawakib al-Duriyyah in the Jafari principles, and its arrangement is based on an introduction, a premise, and a conclusion. As for the introduction, it includes chapters: The first chapter is on the subject of the science of jafr and its benefit, so we say: There has been disagreement regarding the specification of its subject. Sheikh Muhyi al-Din, may God sanctify his dear secret, said that the subject of this science is the letters in that they are an independent structure with meaning, and its evidence is induction, and its benefit is ascending to the understanding of the Muhammadan speech, which cannot be achieved except by knowing the science of Arabic linguistics, the Mighty, the Malkuti, which is one of the properties of Muhammad, may God Almighty bless him and grant him peace, and this is its final reason. His words ended, and Al-Qanwi said in his explanation of the tree, the subject of the science of jafr, indicating the power of God Almighty, it ended. And you are aware that the truth is what the Sheikh sanctified the secret of the Mighty, and therefore it is known as a science in which letters and their parts are searched, which are also letters in terms of their indication of events.... Conclusion Know that the letters of the four natures, each of which is the key to the name of a prophet, a saint, or a wise man. Each letter of them contains an extension of that name according to the divine wisdom, and the fiery letters are oriental and summer. What is meant is that if they indicate an event, most of their significance is in the direction of the East and in the summer time, and most of what they indicate is... Elevation...And know, O guided one, that there is in your hands a code obstacle that only every obese person can cross, and it is the greatest obstacle preventing access to the secrets of the letters. It is said after the subscription, because the subscription between two letters may agree on a diameter of the diagonals, so the matter becomes suspicious for someone who has no knowledge of the issue. In proving the letters on a diameter of the diagonals, it is chosen and the way to get rid of this obstacle is to take the number of the two letters by multiplying one of them by its like, then also multiplying the community by its like. One sentence appears and nine-nine is dropped, so what remains after the omission is the letter that does not accept the subscription. So use it wisely, and this is a very beneficial rule, so work by it and you will be guided to the right path.
