Sample Text
Part one of a collective volume of five texts bound together and written in one hand. Based on the interlinear Javanese translations and marginal comments, and the content of the volume, this manuscript was possibly used by a student as a text book taught in a pesantren (Islamic schools) in Indonesia. This final text contains a commentary and explanation of Umm al-Barāhīn or al-ʿAqīdat al-Ṣughrā of Muḥammad ibn Yūsuf al-Sanūsī in Islamic creed by Muḥammad ibn Ibrāhīm al-Malālī al-Tilmasāni.
