Text with vocalization and orthoepic signs. Golden dots enhanced with blue and red separate the verses. The word ʿ ašr, written in the margin in red ink, indicates the groups of ten verses. At the head of each surah, up to f° 302 v°, appear its title and the number of its verses in red ṯuluṯ character inside a golden frame. The beginning of the text is inscribed in a frame against a background of golden “clouds”; the title and number of the verses of S. I and II are placed in the golden cartridges of the four banners (ff° 1 v° and 2 r°). The rest of the text is inscribed in a golden linear frame. The indications of sağda and those of the division into ğuz ʾ and ḥizb are placed in the margin, in red ink. All headings (tens, titles, divisions of the text) are written in ink at the extreme limit of the outer margin. Western paper. 305 fol. 148 × 102mm. 15 lines per page (except in ff° 1 v° and 2 r°: 7 l.). Black ink. Writing surface: 88 × 52 mm. Advertisements. Oriental binding whose spine has been restored; on both boards, central plate in the shape of a polylobed mandorla (54 × 37 mm, “thistle” decoration), cold-stamped pendants and spandrels on attached pieces whose background has been gilded.
