Incipit (f. 1v): قال الشيخ الأجل والقدوة الأدل (...) الشيخ المختار بن أحمد بن أبي بكر الكنتي ثم الوافي أفاض الله علينا وعلى المسلمين بركاته ءامين ءامين ءامين الحمد لله الموصوف بالبقاء والقدم المختصص بالجود والكرم الذي علم الإنسان مالم يعلم والشكر له على فضله وءالائه ... ورتبته ترتيبا لم يسمح الزمان بإخراج شكله فجاء بحمد الله وحسن عونه الشمس في رونق الضحى أو البرق المنير في سناه (...) وسميته Explicit and colophon (f. 509): وقد ختمه مصنفه بعون الله وتوفيقه بالصلاة كما بدأه بالثناء والحمد لله على ما أولهم والشكر له على ما به مما قصدناه تمم والصلاة والسلام على من فيض بحر علومه البدور السافرة وعلى (...). الأشعري مشعبا الجنيدي مرغبا ومهربا جعله الله خالصا لوجهه ونفع السؤال F. 509: Despite an overprint, we read that the manuscript was copied by Aḥmad Muġyā ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn Aḥmad Muġyā on 3 ragab 1292 h. / August 6, 1875 (f. 223v) Cold stamped decoration. On the upper plate, fillets mark the vertical axis and the diagonals, fillet border. On the lower plate, the mandorla is bordered by a crescent, a vertical axis marked by two threads. Crescent-shaped motifs on the cover, crosspieces on the edge cover and on the back, strap going three times around the volume. Transliteration standard: ISO 233-2:1993, Information and documentation -- Transliteration of Arabic characters into Latin characters -- Part 2: Arabic language (the character ¨t is not used).
