This manuscript contains two thirds of the commentary of Aḥmad Ibn Ġunaym al-Nafrāwī (1126 h = 1714) on the Risāla of Ibn Abī Zayd al-Qayrawānī, with a table of contents in f. 1b. The copyist is Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn Qāsim ibn Zākūr, the copy was completed in 1222 h. / 1807 (f. 283b). Incipit (f. 2b): ولما فرغ من الكلام على ركني الإسلام وهما شهادة الإسلام والصلاة شرع في الثالث بقوله باب في الصيام وهو لغة الإمساك والترك Explicit (f. 293a): وقد حكى ابن أبي حمزة وجماعة أنهم رأوا النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يقظة وورد من رآني مناما فيسراني يقظة ومنكر ذلك محروم لأنه إن كان ممكنا بكرامات الأولياء فالبحث معه ساقط لتكذيب ما أثبتته السنة أشار إلى جميع [ بياض ] شيخ مشايخنا اللقاني في شرح جوهرة التوحيد، وهذا ما تيسر لنا ذكره. This text contains the following comments from Aḥmad Ibn Ġunaym al-Nafrāwī (1126 h = 1714) on the Risāla of Ibn Abī Zayd al-Qayrawānī, with a table at the end of the month. 1b. The copy is Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn Qāsim ibn Zākūr, and the copy began at the end of 1222 hours. / 1807 (f. 283b). Incipit (f. 2b): And when he finished speaking about the two pillars of Islam, which are the testimony of Islam and prayer, he began the third by saying a chapter on fasting, which is the language of abstinence, abstinence, and silence, and the standing of the horse, and the law of abstinence from the desires of sight and relief.
