The incipit is the same as that of Badāʾiʿ al-zuhūr fī waqāʾiʿ al-duhūr (ms Arabic 1552). On the relationship of this text with the Badāʾiʿ al-zuhūr fī waqāʾiʿ al-duhūr attributed sometimes to Ibn Iyās, sometimes to Ǧalāl al-Dīn al-Suyūṭī, see the article by D. Wasserstein. Inc. (f. 1v) : Colophon (f. 349) : و كان الفراغ من هذه النسخة المباركة في يوم الخميس المبارك ثالث عشر رجب سنة ثمانية و ثلاثين بعد الألف و حسبنا نعم الوكيل (...) على يد أفقر عباد الله و أحوجهم إليه الفقير سلطان غفر الله له و لوالديه... The text published in Cairo in 1954 under the title Badāʾiʿ al-zuhūr fī waqāʾiʿ al-duhūr attributed to Muḥammad ibn Iyās al-Ḥanafī is close to this manuscript. Anonymous copy executed by a certain Sulṭān and completed on 13 raǧab 1038/8 March 1629 (f. 349).. The explanation is the name that came from Badāʾiʿ al-Duhūr fī waqāʾiʿ al-Duhūr (MS Arabe 1552). The relationship between this text and the bad language of the waqāʾi al-Duhūr attribués was sent to Ibn Iyās, followed by the son of Al-Dīn al-Suyūṭī, see the article by D. Wasserstein. Inc. (f. 1v): Praise be to God, the Ancient, the First, the Eternal, the Unchanging (...) And after that, I composed this history from the benefits of those who came forward in all histories. Colophon (f. 349): The completion of this blessed copy was on the blessed Thursday, the thirteenth of Rajab, in the year thirty-eight after the thousand, and we are sufficient, the best disposer of affairs (...) at the hands of the poorest and most needy of God’s servants, the poor Sultan, may God forgive him and his parents... The text was edited in 1954 so that the title Badāʾiʿ al-Zuhūr fī Waqāʾiʿ al-Duhūr attribué to Muḥammad ibn Iyās al-Ḥanafī is published by this manuscript. Copy an anonymous copy of a certain Sulṭān and find it on March 13, 1038/8, 1629 (f. 349).
