This collection includes: (folio 2 verso) a poem in Mesnevis, entitled باغ بهشت, which is a translation of Saʿdi's Boustan; it contains 5155 verses; Pir Mohammed says, in a colophon written in good Arabic, that he composed it in forty days, in the midst of the terror inspired in him by the great earthquake which ravaged Constantinople, throwing down the minarets of the mosques and overturning the houses; the Bagh-i behisht was completed on Thursday the tenth of Shaʿban in the year 963 AH (1555-1556); leكلشن سيمرغ, translation into Mesnevis verse of the Mantik el-taïr of Ferid ed-Din ʿAttar; according to an Arabic colophon, the Goulshen-i Simourgh was finished in Constantinople on Wednesday the twenty-second day of the month of Moharrem in the year 964 AH (November 25, 1556); the beginning, without any title (folio 113 verso), of the imitation of a poem by Nizami, dated, in the same way, 25 Moharrem 964 (28 November 1556); the نكارستان شهرستان درختستان سبزستان (folio 117 verso), translation, or rather imitation of the Goulistan of Saʿdi, entirely in mesnevis verse, containing 4973 verses; this Nigaristan is dedicated to Sultan Soleiman I, son of Sultan Selim, with prayers for the sons of the Ottoman sovereign (folios 118 recto, 119 verso, 170 verso); the author signs ضعيفى, on folios 118 recto and 170 verso; it was finished in Constantinople, on Friday 24 Ramadhan in the year 963 AH (July 3, 1556); the بستان نصايح, translation of the Pend name of Ferid ed-Din ʿAttar, completed on Zilkaʿda 16, 963 (October 21, 1556); leديوان ضعيفى (folio 195 verso), collection of poetic compositions by Pir Mohammed, including introductory pieces, kaside, terkib-bend, mourabbaʿ, moukhammas, mousaddas; the ghazels (folio 202 verso), arranged according to the alphabetical order of their rhymes; mustazad (folio 241 verso); chronograms (folio 242 recto); moukattaʿat, minor pieces, mesnevis (folio 244 recto); quatrains (folio 247 recto); riddles (folio 248 recto); moufradat (folio 248 verso); the divan is dated Constantinople, 17 Rabiʿ second 964 (February 17, 1557); سركذشت مولانا ضعيفى (folio 251 verso), autobiography in mesnevis verse by Zaʿifi, in which he recounts his childhood, how he was entrusted to Akabirzade, then to Pir Ahmed Čelebi, the death of his cousin, ʿAli Čelebi; leقصۀ عشقى و معشوق, tale in prose and verse, in the Persian formula, following the Ottoman tradition, where the sentimental adventures of a lover and the object of his wishes are narrated, where we find eulogies at the mosques of Sultan Mohammed, Hagia Sophia, the city of Galata, and a fairly long description (folio 267 recto) of the ten stages of mystical love; this work is dated Safar 964 (December 1556) [folio 254 recto]; the فال مرغان, pamphlet on divination by the auspices of fifty-nine birds, completed on 9 Safar 964 (December 12, 1556) [folio 268 verso]; a pamphlet in mesnevis verse, without title, on events in the life of Pir Mohammed [folio 271 recto]; the کلشن ملوك, treatise in prose, containing advice to kings, mixed with anecdotes, dated 20 Safar 964 (23 December 1556) [folio 279 verso]; the رسالۀ امتحانیّه, treatise in Arabic prose, in which the author recounts particularities of his life, the dreams he had, the help he implored in 957 (1550) from the grand vizier, how the latter asked him for a copy of his works to present them to the Padishah (folio 299 verso); the Arabic commentary on some verses of the Koran (folio 308 recto); the رسالۀ وجودیّه, translation into Arabic of the treatise on being and non-being that the Seyyid-i Sherif Ǧourǧani wrote in Persian, dated the month of Ǧoumada first 964 (March 1557) [folio 309 recto]; the رسالۀ جوهریّه, translation into Turkish of a treatise written in Persian on precious stones, divided into twelve chapters, according to the number of months and signs of the zodiac; this pamphlet was completed by Pir Mohammed on Monday 7 Reǧeb 952 (September 14, 1545); the copy is dated Constantinople, 26 Safar 964 (29 December 1566) [folio 310 verso]; the translation into Turkish of a deed of vakf granted in Reǧeb 901, by the son of Pir Mohammed's uncle, named ʿAli Beg, copied in Constantinople on 29 Safar 964 (January 1, 1557) [folio 316 verso]; منشآت, different letters and formulas, some in Persian, the copy of which is dated 7 Rabiʿ second 964 (February 7, 1557) [folio 320 recto]. This manuscript was copied from the author's autograph, as one of the scribes mentioned in the divan colophon, on folio 249 recto.
