First words (f. 1 v): رسول الله صلَعم إنه قال إنما الأعمال بالنيات ... كتاب الإيمان الفصل الأول عن ابن الخطّاب رضي الله عنه أنه قال بينما نحن جلوس عند رسول الله وعن عمر [بن] الخطّاب رضي الله عنه أنه قال قال incomplete text at the end, ending with a ḥadīṭ from Muslim, taken from Kitāb al-Qadar, no. 17. Last words (f. 227 v): ان القلوب بين إصبعين من أصابع الله يقلبها BROCKELMANN (C), Geschichte der arabischen Literatur, Suppl. II, 940 (105). Anonymous and undated copy. The first ḥadīṯ is from the Muslim community. Premieres quotes (f. 1 v): The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said, “Actions are based on intentions.” The Book of Faith, Chapter One, on the authority of Ibn al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him, that he said while we were sitting with the Messenger of God, and on the authority of Omar [Ibn] al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him, that he said, “He said, ‘Incomplete text, this ends with a Muslim,’ on the authority of Kitāb al-Qadar, n° 17.” Derniers mots (f. 227 v): The hearts are between two of God's fingers.
