Content: Reading of the prayer that must be done before proceeding to read Dalāʼil al-jayrāt. (2 last pages without foliation that precede the 1st). - Kitāb Dalāʾil al-jayrāt wa-šawāriq al-anwār fī ḏikr al-ṣalāt ʿalà l-nabī al-mujtār (1v-81r) [1858] 1274 AH [GAL, II, 327-8, Brockelmann, Suppl., II, 359]. - What is said at the end of Dalāʼil al-jayrāt (81v-85v). - Al-Burda li-l-imām al-Buṣayrī (88v-104v) [s. F.]. - Prayers in the form of “qaṣīda nabawiyya” (105r-107r). - Prayer of al-Yūsī (108r-109v). - Handwritten letter from Segismundo Moret y Prendergast to Mariano Gaspar Remiro, dated January 2, 1909. Transliterated title: Maŷmūʽat muʼallafāt fī l-amdāḥ al-nabawiyya, Factitious title, Distribution: 1 col. Most of the volume is 11 lines per page. Others vary from 3 to 10 lines., Material: Paper, Ink: Black, red, blue and yellow, Place of writing: Not stated, Topical data: not stated; Chronicle date: 1274 H/1858C (taken from the work: Kitāb Dalāʾil al-jayrāt wa-šawāriq al-anwār fī ḏikr al-ṣalāt ʿalà l-nabī al-mujtār), Special features: Vocalized text, Illustration: The box is, for the most part, in a red box and others in a red and blue or red and black box. - Folio 13v: illustration describing the cemetery in which the Prophet Muḥammad and the caliphs Abū Bakr and ʽUmar were buried. The illustration, as a door, represented by a horseshoe arch crowned by a lowered vault, in the lower half of which the three mentioned tombs are represented, with an indication in Arabic text of who owns each one; Thus, that of the Prophet Muḥammad appears as a horizontal rectangle with two triangles at the upper ends in blue, while those of the caliphs Abū Bakr and ʽUmar are represented as a yellow horizontal rectangle. - In the upper half of the arch it appears in the shape of an hourglass with a rose window on each side. Illustrations: The most repeated symbol throughout Dalāʼil's work is an upper script that coincides in dimension with the graphic lengthening of the consonants. - Also, and to a much lesser extent, the Arabic comma (‘) and a symbol that resembles the lām alif (ﻻ) appear in red ink. The headings are sometimes marked with red ink and other times in yellow or black ink; and in a much longer line than the rest of the text., Notebook type: 13 squares: the 1st square. and the 3rd are quaternions and the rest quinions, Deterioration: Good condition. On some folios of the volume slight ink degradation, stains and fingerprints that do not affect the text., H blank: 17 H blank: the first 8 folios added after the endpaper, one of the loose notes, the verso of the unnumbered folio that precedes 1r, 88r, and 117v. Furthermore, among the pages added to the beginning of the volume, the verso of 2 of them and the recto of another also appear blank. Of the loose notes, the verses of 2 others also appear blank., H damaged, mutilated, loose: 5 H loose: 5 notes loose at the end of the volume., H missing or added: 27 H added: 22 f. at the beginning of the volume, 4 of which are bound backwards, plus 5 loose notes at the end of it., Foliation: No original foliation. - Modern foliation in pencil made by Concepción Castillo Castillo (1984). - Of the 124 f. originals of the volume, only 117 are folios, the other 8 lack numbering (7 folios preceding the 1st and another in the middle of folios 48 and 49), while the folios added later also lack numbering. - Folio 117 corresponds to the final flyleaf of the volume, Claims: Claims in black ink in the lower left margin of all the verso folios, except folios 9v, 12v, 13, and 80v, Sign. Squared: No, Ruled: Drypoint (almost negligible)., Watermark: No, Old signature: VOL. IV; A-5-4, Annotations: From a hand later than that of the copyist, are the notes of the verso of the initial endpaper and the recto of the final endpaper. Fragments of prayers and incantations also appear in the following folios: 86r-87v, 107v, 110r-117v, plus 15 folios at the beginning of the volume and 4 loose unnumbered notes. On the other hand, sporadic corrections and marginal annotations in black ink are made by the same copyist to correct or amend the text on the box. Also, and very sporadically, the word ḥizb appears in red ink. Particularly striking are the marginal annotations to amend part of the text in black ink on folios 24r and 34r that border, clockwise, the box.
