Notes Jurisprudential comments that contain a solid investigation and weighting of what the evidence indicates in the view of the author, all of this on places in the book Al-Bahr Al-Zakhar, and the explanation for this is that the author praised in the introduction two books, the first: Al-Intisar Al-Jami’ min Al-Mazhab of the Scholars of the Provinces by Al-Muayyad Billah Yahya bin Hamza bin Ali T. 745 AH, and the second: Al-Bahr Al-Zakhar Al-Jami’ of the Doctrines of the Egyptian Scholars by Al-Mahdi Li Din Allah Ahmad bin Yahya bin Al-Murtada d. 840 AH, and that they collected the jurisprudential sayings of the imams with their arguments, and the scholars adopted the second of them because of the purity of the first and people’s tendency towards brevity. It occurred to the author to study this book with some of the descendants of the author of Al-Bahr and his descendants, and it occurred to him to “summarize some issues, edit some evidence, refine some points, and guide God Almighty to the extraction of jewels... and I called it the chosen lighthouse from the jewels of the sea Al-Zakhar,” a Yemeni copy. A complete and valuable treasure trove, corrected, written in black and red ink, with useful footnotes, written for the treasury of the Commander of the Faithful, Al-Mansur Billah, at the beginning and end of which are the following: 1/ Registration of ownership of the Unayzah Library in Al-Qassim on 12/1/1419 AH. 2/ A record of reading a science whose name is not clear. 3/Ownership registration in the name of Ahmed bin Muhammad Al-Jawhari dated Rabi’ Al-Thani 1354 AH. 4/ A copy record for this book written by: Al-Mansur Billah Al-Hussein bin Al-Qasim bin Amir Al-Mu’minin Al-Mu’ayyad Billah dated Rabi’ Al-Awwal in the year 1129 AH. 5/ Ownership registration in the name of Hajj Muhammad bin Hassan Mahawish dated 1132 AH. 6/ Ownership registration in the name of Yahya bin Ismail dated 1365 AH. 7/ Ownership registration in the name of Muhammad bin Lutf Al-Bari Al-Ward Al-Khatib. 8/ Ownership registration was registered in the name of Yahya bin Muhammad Al-Janadi Al-Qurashi, and in another place it was written that he owned it equally with his cousin Ismail Shafi’. 9/ Purchase record for this copy dated 1380 AH. 10/ Ownership registration dated 1173 AH. 11/ Ownership registration written by Yahya bin Saleh bin Yahya Al-Sahouli. 12/ A certificate of the validity of the sale of this copy was registered on 1319 AH. 13/ Recording a “snippet” - meaning a copy and a copy - dated 1130 AH. 14/ Benefits of the Most Beautiful Names of God, quoted from Al-Buni.
