Notes
The sources conflicted over the name of the compiler of this work. Although the sources we referred to agreed that the name of the book was “The Orphan of Time in the Fatwas of the People of the Age” or “The Orphan of Time in the Fatwas of the Age,” and they all agreed on the date of the author’s death in the year 645 AH, they differed over his name, so he mentioned, as a case, vol. 5, p. 210, “Abdul Rahim bin Omar bin Abdullah al-Tarjmani al-Hanafi, Ala al-Din,” and with the same name Al-Baghdadi mentioned it, vol. 5, p. 210. 1, p. 560, however, as in the case of Aad, he mentioned it “Muhammad bin Mahmoud al-Tarjumani al-Malaki al-Khwarizmi, Ala al-Din, in the two parts, vol. 11, p. 316, vol. 9, p. 126, and al-Baghdadi also mentioned it, vol. 2, p. 125, and likewise by the author of al-‘Ilam, while the author of al-Kashf limited himself to “by Imam... al-Turjumani (Ala al-Din) (Muhammad) al-Hanafi, d. 645 AH.” As for the copy that We have Ford on the title page: “Unique in his time and the only one of his time, the glory of the imams, Abd al-Rahim al-Tarjmani.” In the preamble, he mentioned his father’s name, “Omar bin Muhammad al-Tarjmani, my father.” Accordingly, it is more appropriate that his name be “Abd al-Rahim bin Omar bin Muhammad al-Tarjmani.” The copy is opposite: “This copy is opposite the copy from which it was copied, letter by letter, without addition or subtraction.” The text was written in glossy black ink, while the titles and important phrases are in red ink with parallel lines and a commercial watermark. It is a shield with a crescent and its inner tendon in the shape of a human face, in addition to Latin writings, including the letters Victoria A.C. On the other paper is a watermark, which is a double-framed oval shape with a winged falcon inside it. Surrounding the outer frame are two plant branches. The manuscript consists of 26 disassembled booklets bearing the title page of the Ahmed Khairy Library seal and the date of the year 1362 AH. What is strange is that he did not write any comments on this copy, contrary to his custom, perhaps due to the problem of the name of the work that we mentioned above.

Metin Sonu (Explicit)
