Notes	The title page lacked the name of the work. The text was generally written in glossy black tan ink, and the Qur’anic verses were written in red ink on soft, brown-textured paper. The last page of the letter contained four lines indicating its origin, its copyist, and who it was copied to. This letter was quoted from the original preserved in the library of Sheikh al-Islam Arif. I ruled you in Medina. May the best prayers and peace be upon its inhabitant. It is on paper 73-75 from Group 3 of the library, and its copyist was valuable. Library Sheikh Ibrahim Al-Kharbuti on Wednesday night, the end of the year 1364 AH, and Ahmed Khairy wrote it, and I interviewed it and mentioned the corrections in my handwriting in the margins.
Metin Başı (İncipit)	(بسم الله الرحيم وأستعين بكرمه العميم ولطفه الجسيم وإحسانه القديم وأستعيذ به من الشيطان الرجيم وأحمده على إنعامه العظيم وأصلي على نبيه الكريم وصفيه الفخيم وعلى آله وأصحابه المتمسكين بدينه القويم والسالكين في صراطه المستقيم أما بعد فلما رأيت في بعض رسائل الشافعية طعناً شنيعاً وقدحاً فظيعاً بالنسبة إلى الأئمة الحنفية وكتبت رسالة للرد عليهم في هذه القضية وسميتها " تشييع فقهاء الحنفية لتشنيع سفهاء الشافعية" وانتشرت تلك الرسالة بين الفقهاء والسفهاء المكية وتحرك لبعضهم عرق الجاهلية فقامت عليهم القيمة وأطالوا علينا لسان الملامة بين سفيه مفتن .... وبين فقيه تستري على سمت معتزلي ....ومع هذا فليته كان من أقراني وإنما تميز عني بإطالة الكم وإسدال الذيل أزيد مني وتكبير العمامة للعلامة بأنه الفقيه العلامة فهو كلابس ثوبي زور ...)
