Notes A modern copy, the first and the other, and many of them were dropped here and there during it, and the first title in it appears on folio 4b, which is: ((The second part of the book The War of Rabi’ah and the Yemen with Al-Salan, Al-Kalab, Dhul-Arat, Khazazi, and Al-Jabalin)) and the text continues after the title: ((In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. Abu Al-Mundhir Hisham bin Muhammad bin Al-Saib Al-Kalbi said when the leadership changed from Abd al-Qays to Taghlib in the Banu Jashm, Ibn Bakr bin Habib bin Wael, and they were preventing The shepherds and the hunting of the wilderness and preventing menstruating women when they precede them to the water...)) Among the titles in it are: mentioning the alliance between Rabia and Yemen, mentioning Labid’s alliance with Rabia and Amr bin Nayel in Mudar, mentioning the alliance of Rabia and Mudar and the contract of the presidency for Kalib Wael Ould Nizar, entirely, and breaking the Yemeni alliance with Rabia - mentioning the battle of the dogs between Rabia and Yemen, in which Amr Nabul was killed, mentioning the battle Khazazi between Nizar and Yemen, and the killing of al-Taba’ and his brothers, ((The fourth part of the book of Bakr and Taghlib Ibn Nizar, which contains what happened of Kulayb and Jasas and what happened between them. The text was written in dark brown ink, and the copyist used red ink. Its leaves are completely separated from each other, and each leaf is separate from its sister, so its edges are broken and oily spots appear as a result of excessive use and neglect. They need restoration, rebinding, and maintenance. It bears the seal of at least one ownership under the name: ((Al-Wathiq Bi-Sattar Muhammad bin Abdul-Jabbar)), and it appears that many of its reports are taken directly from the books of Hisham bin Muhammad bin Al-Sa’ib Al-Kalbi, who died in the year 204 AH, such as: News of Bakr, Taghlib, The Separation of the Arabs, The Book of Al-Mundhir, King of the Arabs, and others. See: Al-Fahrist by Al-Nadim, Tahqiq Rida Tajadid, 109-110, and Sezgin - Arabic translation, vol. 1, c. 2/55, or from the book ((Akhbar Al-Arab and its Days)) by Al-Zubayr bin Bakkar, who died in the year 253 AH, Al-Fahrist by Al-Nadim 123, or from the book of Abu Ubaid Muammar bin Al-Muthanna, who died in the year 210 AH.
