A precious and complete copy, located in the group (1a-13a), and it is identical to the original from which it was quoted and read to Al-Baranbari, and was approved by Yunus bin Mallaj Al-Hassani Al-Hanafi, as appears in the authorization affixed to the title page and at the foot of it is Al-Baranbari’s signature to prove its authenticity. The text in the entire collection was written in dark watery tangy brown ink that turned dull due to moisture and oxidation, and the copyist used red ink to write some of it. Words such as: “we told,” “they said,” “thanna,” etc., on a Levantine rug that is devoid of any parallel lines or watermarks, and on a Frankish rug that shows parallel lines and the commercial watermark, which is in the form of a palm with a wrist. This type of Frankish rug represents the beginning of the penetration of Frankish rugs into the Levantine markets at the beginning of the tenth century AH, which led to its dominance in the markets due to its cheapness and abundance, and thus to the death of the rug industry. Al-Mashriqi, in each part of the collection, an authorization restriction appears, with a difference in the title of the part, and this is its text: “Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, and after all have heard this part, which is the Al-Baniyasi part, from the hadith of Ibrahim bin Abdul Samad Al-Hashimi, written by Yunus bin Mallaj Al-Hanafi Al-Hasani, from the words of our Sheikh, the Imam, the scholar, Muwaffaq Al-Din Abi Sahl Muhammad bin our master, the Sheikh, the scholar, Abi Zar’ah, Wali Al-Din Ahmad bin Jamal Al-Din Abi Abdullah Muhammad bin Omar Al-Baranbari, Al-Masri Al-Shafi’i, the servant of the noble antiquities, read it. From his pronunciation of the part in his session in Egypt in the script of Dar al-Nahhas on Saturday, the thirteenth of Muharram al-Haram, the opening of the year nineteen hundred and eighteen, with a negative chain of transmission, and our Master Al-Musma permitted his scribe, Yunus bin Mallaj al-Hasani al-Hanafi, to narrate that and all that was permissible for him and on his behalf to narrate, and praise be to God alone. “Praise be to God alone. It is authentic. Muhammad bin Ahmad bin Muhammad al-Baranbari al-Shafi’i, the custodian of the noble antiquities, God Almighty wills.” He wrote the text in the entire collection. With dark brown, tangy, watery ink, which has turned dull due to moisture and oxidation. The copyist used red ink to write some words, such as: “He spoke to us,” “They said,” “Then us,” and so on, on a Levantine script devoid of any parallel lines or watermarks, and on a Frankish script in which the parallel lines and the commercial watermark appear, and it is in the shape of a palm with a wrist. This type of Frankish script represents the beginning of the penetration of the Frankish script into the world. Eastern markets at the beginning of the tenth century AH, which led to its dominance in the markets due to its cheapness and availability, and thus to the death of the Eastern baked goods industry.
