Notes	Al-Nisa is a part of Sahih al-Bukhari that begins with the chapter on the Farewell Pilgrimage and ends with the chapter on the Almighty’s saying, “And We gave David the Psalms.” In the margin of the first panel is a chapter on mentioning the angels. The copy was heard and interviewed, and at the beginning he included words in red ink talking about the value and symbols of the copy from which that copy was quoted, which was in the hands of Ibn al-Sarraj. Its interviews are based on books approved by the readings of the great sheikhs. On its margins are corrections with symbols that the writer of the first page tried to decipher and attributed some of the symbols to scholars. \| The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.
Sample Text	Chapter on the Farewell Pilgrimage Ismail told us... on the authority of Aisha, may God be pleased with her, who said: We went out with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, for the Farewell Pilgrimage, so we performed the Umrah. Then the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said, “Whoever has a sacrificial animal with him, let him perform the Hajj with the Umrah” ... Chapter on the saying of God Almighty, “And We gave David the Psalms” ... And indeed David came in abundance from among us... The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said to me, “Did I not inform you that you would pray all night and fast?” During the day, I said, “Yes.” He said, “If you do that, the eye will be irritated and the soul will be exhausted. Fast for three days every month, for that is fasting for a lifetime... We completed the part...
