The copy is the third part of a ten-part division. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH. | “Chapter on perfume when in ihram, to the chapter on cutting down trees and palm trees”

Chapter on perfume when in ihram and what to wear if he wants to be in ihram, he dismounts and applies anointing. Ibn Abbas said, “The one in ihram smells the basil and looks in the mirror, and he treats himself with what he eats oil and ghee,” and Ata’ said, “He bathes and dresses.” Al-Himyan said. And Ibn Umar circumambulated while in ihram, with a garment tied around his stomach... ...Chapter on cutting trees and palm trees. Anas said, “The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, commanded palm trees, and they were cut down... On the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, that he burned the palm trees of Banu al-Nadir and cut down, which is al-Buwairah... The end of the third part of Qisma.” Ten parts of Sahih al-Bukhari... and it is followed at the beginning of the fourth part by the chapter on sharecropping in the middle and the like...
