On the authority of Aisha, may God be pleased with her, the wife of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, she said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: Whenever the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, wanted to go out on a journey, he would cast lots among his wives... ...a warning, and when the wing of mercy is extended and the removal of closeness and ease is revealed, the high one is equal in bliss... and prepare for us his blessing in this world and the hereafter with your mercy, O Most Merciful of the Merciful... the scripture has been fulfilled.
