Notes It has white in more than one place. #- The name of the copyist, the date of copying, and the date of composition were taken from the last part of the book. | The date of copying has been confirmed from the sixth part, which is in the library of Raghib Pasha, No. (305); It was stated that the date of copying was: (Saturday the twenty-second of the month of Shaban in the year 1153 thousand one hundred and fifty-three.) - Date of the copyist’s death: alive in the year 1153 AH. | In the author’s handwriting at the end of the copy of the Holy Mosque, which is numbered (1141), it is stated that the date of the composition is: (The oath of its author and ruler was empty, to the mercy of his rich Lord, Abu Muhammad Mahmoud bin Ahmad Al-Aini, who composed and underlined this part. The twenty-first from Umdat Al-Qari in Al-Bukhari’s explanation, with which the explanation was completed, with the grace, help, kindness, and generosity of God, at the end of the first third of the night of Saturday, the fifth of the month of Jumada Al-Awwal, in the year forty-seven. Sample Text The beginning of the manuscript: P.: (Kitab al-Manaqib) meaning: This is a book about the statement of virtues, and it is the plural of al-Manaqib, which is the opposite of the miraculous, and in some copies it occurred: Chapter on the Virtues. The first is better because the book collects chapters, and it contains many chapters related to many things that are not hidden. Page: (Chapter on the words of God Almighty: {O people! Indeed, We created you from a male and a female and made you into peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most honorable of you in the sight of God is the one who fears you. Indeed, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Aware}, and the Almighty’s saying: {And fear Allah, by whom you ask one another, and the relatives. Indeed, Allah is ever a Watcher over you}, i.e., this is a chapter in mentioning the words of Allah Almighty: {O O people! To her, and the Messenger of God, peace be upon him, said: What did you see, Thabit? He said: I saw white, black and red. He said: You do not prefer them except in religion and piety. So God revealed this verse... The conclusion of the manuscript: ... Al-Laqta: It is in the terminology of jurists: what a person lost due to a fall or negligence, so he takes it, and it is with a fatha al-qaf in the well-known eloquent language, and it was said: with its sukunha, and Al-Khalil said: with a fatha it is a laqat, and with a sukoon it is a malqoot, and al-wakkah: with a kasra of the waw, which is the one with which the head of a bundle or bag and the like is tightened.
