Notes	The copy is the sixth part of a ten-part division. \| The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH. \| “Chapter on the hadith of Zaid bin Amr bin Nufayl to the chapter on the Messenger’s belief in what was revealed to him from his Lord.”
Sample Text	Chapter on the hadith of Zaid ibn Amr ibn Nufayl, Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr told me, he said, Fudayl ibn Sulaiman told us, he said, Musa told us, he said, Salem told us... The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, met Zayd ibn Amr ibn Nufayl with a terrible calamity before the revelation came down to the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him. So I presented to the Prophet a piece of bread and he refused to eat from it. He refused, then he said, “I will not eat what you slaughter on your monuments... ... Chapter: The Messenger believed in what was sent down to him from his Lord, and Ibn Abbas... and it is said, “Your forgiveness is your forgiveness, so forgive us.” Ishaq bin Mansour told us. He said, “Ruh told us.... on the authority of a man among the companions of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. I think he is Ibn Umar. Whether you reveal what is in yourselves or hide it, he said, it was abrogated by the verse that comes after it... the end of the sixth part... and it is recited at the beginning of the seventh part, Surah Al Imran...
