There is also a colored circle placed at the end of the chapter and between some paragraphs, and in its margin are the Greek footnotes and their symbols and proof of the differences between the versions. The word chapter and the book were also written in gold, and the name of the chapter was written in red ink, and there are no comments on the pages. | The last dictation by Imam al-Bukhari for his Sahih was in Bukhara in the year 252 AH, and the dictation before that was in February in the year 248 AH. Since his last dictation is considered a final highlight of the book, we have adopted it as the year of his writing, and some researchers have indicated that the year of his writing of the book is the year 232 AH.

ختمَ بِخاتمٍ وكتبَ بِداخلِه ما يَلي: الحمدُ للهِ الَّذي هدانا لهذا وما كنّا لِنهْتديَ لوْلا أَن هدانا الله. وقف عبْد الحَميدِ خان.ونصُّ الوقْفِ: وقف سيد السلاطين ونخبة الموحدين إمام المسْلمينَ ومُقْتدى الموحّدينَ السّلْطان ابْن السّلْطانِ، السّلطان عبْد الحميدِ خان ابْن السلْطانِ أحْمد خان، لا زالَ حديثُ محامدِه بين الانام متواترًا مشْهورًا، ولا برح صيتُ عدالتِه في لسان الخواص والعوام معننا ومذْكورًا، وأنا الدّاعي لدوْلتِه العليَّةِ السيّد علي بهْجت المفتّش بأوْقافِ الحرمَين الشّريفَين غُفِرَ لَه.وتحتَها ختمٌ فيهِ: السيّد عليّ بهْجت إلهي أزفيض خواهد.
