Al-Qatat is the gossip, and he is the one who transmits the words of some people to others in order to corrupt them, and the one to whom it is conveyed must do six things. The first is not to believe him, because the gossip is immoral. The second is to forbid him from doing so and advise him and make his actions disgraceful to him. The third is to hate him for the sake of God, for he is displeasing to God, and it is obligatory... God hates him.
