Praise be to God for the blessings that have spread... As for what follows, in this dictation I intended to clarify what occurred in Sahih... Al-Bukhari... of strange pronunciation or ambiguous parsing... and I called it the revision of the words of the Sahih Collection... ......and his book which he compiled from among the totality of his work, and I feel that he placed it as a standard and a balance for him to refer to, and that made it easy for those whom God made easy for him and who gazed with care at him. Glory be to God and praise be to Him... and praise be to God alone.
