Notes On the manuscript there is an index of its content amounting to approximately two pages. It has comments. It has corrections. A complete copy. The copy is devoid of the author’s famous introduction called Huda al-Sari. The author of Kashf al-Zunun said: He began writing it in the early year 817 AH, seventeen hundred and eight hundred, in the process of dictation after his introduction was completed in a huge volume in the year 813 AH, eight hundred and thirteen, and a promise preceded it. For explanation, then he began to write in his own handwriting little by little, writing a pamphlet, then a group of respected imams wrote it, and he originally contrasted with the discussion on a day of the week, by reading the scholar: Ibn Khidr, so the book began to be completed and nothing of it was completed, unless it was accepted, and it was edited until it ended on the first day of Rajab, in the year 842 AH, eight hundred and forty-two, except for what he added to it after that, and it was not finished until shortly before his death. | Date of death of the copyist: 1050 AH. | The date of completion of the book's writing was confirmed from the Library of the Chief Writer, No. (194); It was stated in it: “The author, may God Almighty have mercy on him, said that his collection, Ahmad bin Ali, was completed... on the first day of Rajab Al-Farad in the year one hundred and eight forty-two, except for what he added to this booklet on the twelfth of Rajab of that year. He collected the introduction in the year thirteen and began explaining it in the beginning of the year seventeen, and praise be to God.”
