Notes
Ibn Khaldun has been a thinker examined and evaluated by social scientists in many aspects. These evaluations are mostly about his views on umran, asabiyyah and state. However, Ibn Khaldun's issues such as umran, asabiyyah, state etc. In order to fully understand and convey his views, we need to understand his methodology well. In this sense, our article will be on Ibn Khaldun's methodology, which we see as the essential element in understanding him. Ibn Khaldun, who moves the mind and senses together, handles umran on a realistic basis, uses material elements in his explanations, and wants to discover regularities within the cause-effect relationship, is a very important thinker both for his time and for the time we live in.
