Notes There are some values ​​that people have considered sacred throughout history. These consist of symbols or symbolic objects that evoke the same feelings and thoughts in individuals who belong to a common belief in society. It acquires a sacred meaning by being passed on from generation to generation under the influence of traditions and customs. The concept of the sacred can also be defined as a set of values ​​that include worship and rituals that provide a connection between the supernatural creative power and the believers. Just as there are times and places that are considered sacred in Islam, there are also items that are considered sacred by people of this religion. These are defined as sacred relics in our culture. The last prophet Hz. It consists of some tangible values ​​such as clothes and belongings belonging to Muhammad (pbuh) and his family members and close circle. The most widely known among the public is Hz. These are the hairs or beards of Muhammad and are generally visited in mosques on holy days and nights. It was carried out by foundations as a kind of charity service in the form of giving beard-ı sherif/lihye-i sherif blessings and having people visited. This tradition appears in the foundation deeds of foundations established after the third quarter of the 18th century.
