Notes
In this study, İbnu'l-Cezerî's taḥrîrât practices on al-Şâṭıbiyye and his influence on his successors in this regard are discussed. Verse works used in the teaching of Islamic sciences stand out as primary sources in the teaching of Islamic sciences because they are easy to memorize, short and practical. However, the texts in question need to be interpreted because the poetic works contain concise expressions and, in addition, if we talk specifically about the poetic works of poetry, the contradictions of the verses are encrypted in the text. Eş-Şâṭıbiyye, which is one of these types of compilations belonging to the Ḳırââât literature, also has an important place among the basic sources. In this context, commentaries on al-Shaṭıbiyya have been written until today; Compilation studies were carried out in which clear and muṭlaḳ expressions were clarified and aspects that were not deemed appropriate to be expressed were eliminated. The main purpose of such works is to separate the true from the true aspects of the ḳırâât aspects attributed to narrators. While doing this, the authenticity of the quotations regarding the disagreements attributed to the narrators is evaluated by the authors, and those that are vague are confirmed, and those that are concise are declared. In Neşru'l-'ḳırââti'l-ʿaşr, which is the prose version of Ṭayyibetu'n-Neşr fi'l-ḳırââti'l-ʿaşr, there are also taḥrîrât practices on al-Şâṭıbiyye. The fact that Ṭayyibetu'n-Neşr includes al-Şâṭıbiyye, one of the works that are the source of the el-ʿaşru'ṣ-ṣuġrâ program, makes the taḥrîrât practices carried out in Neşr on al-Şâṭıbiyye meaningful. However, the expressions used by İbnu'l-Cezerî in his review evaluations on al-Şâṭıbiyye are seen as the starting point of this discussion. The expressions in question used by Ibnu'l-Cezerî about the preferences and preferences that Şâṭıbî made to et-Teysîr are "خروج عن طرقه" and its derivatives. These expressions are important in terms of revealing whether Ibnu'l-Cezerî considered the aforementioned aspects suitable for the aḫz, his method in the interpretation, and his influence on his successors. The issue of how the writers of poetry after Ibnu'l-Cezerî took their stance on this issue through the discourse in question is also an important situation. Although studies on tahrîrât literature have been identified in the modern period, these mostly consist of studies on the content of Ṭayyibetu'n-Neşr or research explaining the nature of the taḥrîrât discipline. As far as can be determined, there have not been enough studies in recent times that reveal Ibnu'l-Cezerî's historical activities and that this is done especially through al-Şâṭıbiyye. In addition, the studies titled et-Taḥrîrât ʿale'ş-Şâṭıbiyye beyne'l-ḳırâati ve'l-menʿ and "Identification and Analysis of Tahrîrât Literature Emerging in the Context of Hirzül-Emānī" are some of the prominent studies on al-Şâṭıbiyye. In this context, in this study, İbnu'l-Cezerî's taḥrîrât work on al-Şâṭıbiyye in Neşru'l-ḳırââti'l-ʿaşr was examined. However, his historicalism; It is explained through his taḥrîrât practices on al-Şâṭıbiyye and its effect on his successors. In addition, the effects of this situation on the ḳırāat education have been pointed out, specifically in the ḳırâât professions that emerged in the Ottoman geography. The main sources of the study are the works named al-Şâṭıbiyye, et-Teysîr and Neşr. The literary works carried out on the contents of al-Şāṭıbiyye and Ṭayyibetu'n-Neşr and the commentaries of al-Şāṭıbiyye are the secondary sources of the study. In this context, by comparing the information in the works in question with the taḥrîrât exercises performed in Neşr, the diversification of taḥrîrât literature in terms of methodology related to the subject has been revealed. In the examples discussed and pointed out in the study, İbnu'l-Cezerî's research activities on al-Şâṭıbiyye; It has been determined that Shâṭıbî deviated from his method/isnâd in al-Şâṭıbiyye about the ḳırâât disputes. The phrase "خروج عن طرقه", etc., which he usually uses for these situations. It has been understood that he did not use the expressions to prohibit the relevant expressions. Because it has been observed that the differences in the samples subject to the study are seen as Şâṭıbî's preferences. It should also be noted that in the analysis, it was determined that there were two different schools among the successors of Ibnu'l-Jazari: Those who accepted his relevant discourse as the starting point and acted on the literal meaning of the said word, and those who saw his statements as just a warning and took Şāṭıbī's preferences into consideration. As a matter of fact, it has been observed that this situation has reflections on the preferences of ḳırââât professions.
