Today, the environment is one of the most talked about issues, problems are put forward and solutions are proposed. Environment is the physical, biological, social, economic and cultural environment in which people and other living things maintain their relationships and interact throughout their lives. Maintaining a healthy life is only possible with a healthy environment. Everyone has the right to live in a healthy and balanced environment. Improving the environment, protecting environmental health and preventing environmental pollution is a constitutional duty of citizens as well as the state. Considering that environmental pollution has reached critical levels in the last 50 years, we should put aside the debates about whether we are the cause or not, and take the necessary precautions, especially education and awareness, to create a healthy and clean environment and deliver it to new generations. It is accepted that the rules that ensure social order include religion, etiquette, customs, morality and law. Although each of them has different effects and sanctions on the individual and society, none of them can be completely ignored. In this context, some studies have been conducted taking into account the effect of religions on creating environmental awareness. Islamic Law is the branch of science that regulates the rights and duties of the individual and his creator, the individual and other individuals, the individual and society/state, and finally interstate. In this study, we will try to base Islamic Environmental Law within the framework of the concept of harim, which means "prohibited, protected, untouched, respected".
