The soul, which has an important position and value within the levels of existence due to its relationship with the body; It is the field of existence that brings mental beings, in essence, and corporeal beings, in terms of their function, to perfection. In Kindi's philosophy, it is possible for a person who has a body and a soul to get rid of the negative forces of the body and reach his essential perfection through the soul. In this sense, the soul acts as a protective shield against man's desire and anger powers, and prevents the emergence of evil by saving man from the passions of the body. Because, without the soul, it is not possible to prevent the desires of the body, which has the powers of desire and anger. This article discusses in detail the relationship between the soul and the body in Kindi philosophy and the manifestation of evil resulting from this relationship.
